Celebrate the very first pledge, the tenth text sent, or the fastest donor abandonment rescue. Public praise in real time costs nothing yet fuels friendly competition and instant dopamine hits. Instead of generic gift cards, I have found offering winners a “matching gift credit” that amplifies their next donor’s contribution. Ambassadors see the impact double before their eyes, reinforcing why they joined the campaign in the first place.

Give top callers a private Zoom with your executive director or head rabbi. Access to inside strategy feels exclusive, deepens commitment, and bridges the gap between frontline volunteers and vision-setters. It also demonstrates the involvement of leadership.
